End Hate Crimes: Krittika Ghosh shows us the way as executive director of the Asian/Pacific Islander Domestic Violence Resource Project

On this episode of Margaritas with Marguerita Cheng, CFP® Pro — As an Asian American, I admit that I have experienced the reality of being looked at as different. For too many Asian Americans, the impact is dramatic, especially in recent months. So it is my pleasure to introduce our audience to today’s guest, a woman who is determined to not only bring awareness to this reality but be the change she wishes to see in the world.

Tonight’s guest: Krittika Ghosh, executive director, the Asian/Pacific Islander Domestic Violence Resource Project (DVRP), dvrp.org

Our topic: How more people can support Asians in America

On this podcast you’ll learn: I am honored to have been selected to be on the board of DVRP, and I look forward to talking with Krittika about:

  • Her organization, DVRP, and how it is responding to the slew of violent attacks against Asians
  • Her extensive experience in the non-profit sector with a specialization and focus on violence against women
  • What drew her to this work
  • The fact that May is AAPI Heritage History Month, and what she would like our viewers/listeners to know about the intersection of gender-based and racist violence?
  • An update on the progress with the programs she’s organizing
  • How more people can we do to help advance the mission of DVRP
